M.I.A. – “Bad Girls” (music video)
I’m an M.I. A. fan, but to be honest, I didn’t really care for her latest song “Bad Girls.” Well not until I watched the music video. Directed by Romain Gavras, you will see some pretty cool car stunts, laxed dance moves, extreme wide angle shots showcasing landscapes and people. Check it out.
I was a little torn by that one when I first watched it a few weeks ago. Mainly because if she lived in Saudi Arabia, she couldn’t actually do any of the stuff she does in said video (or that other women are portrayed as doing), such a driving: “The women’s driving campaign gained international recognition and the women involved were not as severely punished, as those who drove in the 1990 campaign.”
